Moors Study No. 4 is the second piece to be released from the Notes From Inside the Wall collection.
This atmospheric landscape, oil painting captures an expanse of open moorland beneath a beautiful evening sky, with purple heathers and distant hills. On completion it was found that yet again there was a distant figure near the horizon.
This 'mark' or 'figure' has appeared in every subsequent landscape study painted by the current archivist though in actuality it is invisible to the naked eye.
The original artwork is no longer being kept on open display and has been locked away to safeguard the general public. Only prints will be made available.*
